Rev. Dr. Michael Kosik

SENIOR MINISTER

Prior to being our church’s Senior Minister, Rev. Dr. Kosik served for several years as our Associate Minister and has been a part of our church community for over thirty years; spending twenty of those years working with our children.

Rev. Dr. Kosik received his Master of Divinity degree and his Doctor of Ministry degree from Claremont School of Theology in Claremont, California graduating with honors and receiving the school's highest award for preaching.

Pastor Michael has a passion for building our church community and is focused on fulfilling our call to do outreach. Creating a diverse and welcoming community is extremely important to him and he continues to pursue new avenues of achieving an even more inclusive congregation.

Prior to his work in ministry, Pastor Michael was an accomplished actor, performing on stage, film, and television.

Rev. Beth Parker

ASSOCIATE PASTOR & DIRECTOR OF CHILDREN AND YOUTH MINISTRIES

Pastor Beth Parker graduated with a BA in Film Studies from Chapman University and a Masters in Divinity from the Claremont School of Theology. A lifelong Disciple and Loch Leven summer camp camper and counselor, Pastor Beth is passionate about Children and Youth Ministry and brings her enthusiasm for theater and film to her work.

Pastor Beth encourages an open and welcoming space for the youth and children to be their most authentic selves. She believes that youth group and children’s church should be a safe space for all God’s children to come exactly as they are.

In her free time, Pastor Beth enjoys a good book or a nice walk with her favorite four-legged friend, Jane Pawsten.
